How Can I Support the Dillons?

Currently, we are operating at 85% of our budget. However, we only receive approximately 80% each month. So while we are saving a good 15% of budget (like paying less for rent), we are not getting in financially what we spend. Furthermore, you can sign-up for our newsletter and receive updates from our site so that you always know how to pray more specifically.

To begin supporting us financially, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you.

A Philosophy of Partnership

Scott and Meghan are extremely committed to establishing partnerships with their supporters. No one should give blindly and just hope that their time and money goes towards something well worth it. Instead, Scott and Meghan want you to be extremely well informed about where they are going, who they are ministering to, and what they hope to be able to do while they are there. Knowing their missionfield will help you, the supporter, be a better… well… supporter. How could you support their work if you did not know it? Therefore, information and understanding is the first step in becomming a supporter. This website is designed to help this in two ways: One, to give valuable information towards the ministry and mission of the Dillons. Two, to provide semi-frequent updates as to their support status, their well-being, and recent activities that they were able to participate in (the Journal section of this site). Communication is extremely important and with today’s technology, it should be fairly simple to keep supporters updated.

Prayer is integral to any work of the ministry. God ordains things to happen, and not to happen, according to our prayers. Therefore, the power and assistance of prayer is so important that the Dillons seek after your prayers consistently. Pray that God would open eyes and open ears to witness, taste, and be delighted in the Gospel. This is the best way a supporter can pray.

Financial support is also integral. The costs of travel, preparations, of living expenses, etc. are all raised as part of one big support package. There are one-time costs (i.e. language school) and there are monthly costs (i.e. rent, food). Monthly giving is encouraged because it naturally draws the supporter into the work and keeps the heart of the Peruvians on their minds. It also provides the more necessary core support for the missionaries. Please feel free to contact Scott or Meghan about their financial support needs.
